Flatwig Studio is an interior design practice dedicated to creating spaces characterized by a minimalist elegance, that are functional and aesthetically satisfying, with a good harmony of form and function. Flatwig's essential vision brings to results that are characterized by refined simplicity and timeless beauty. Every project is the result of a dialogue among two complementary personalities, Erica and Francesca, that contributes to the uniqueness of each design solution through a blend of practicality and vision.
The multidisciplinary approach of the studio is the result of a passionate knowledge both of design history and contemporary trends; this allows to create solutions that resonate with original sophistication.
We excel in blending furniture from different eras and styles, creating environments that convey a sense of cohesion and harmony, while maintaining originality. The projects by Flatwig Studio very often originate from the research and study of traditions of the past, and the narrative component plays an important role in our work. We select the materials to work with in a responsible and sustainable way, paying respect and attention to the context of application.
Flatwig Studio was founded by Erica Agogliati and Francesca Avian in 2016 in London, and it is currently run in Milan.
Completed works and projects have been featured in leading publications and acclaimed for their fresh and international approach. Flatwig Studio has been selected by Elle Decor Italia among the 30 young design talents of 2020.
