Casa T,E

This 90 sqm apartment in Milan was designed for a young family. The interior features a pop palette balanced by soft tones and aims to reinterpret the spirit of the building as well as the personality of the inhabitants. This bespoke interior features new and bespoke designs and furniture by Flatwig Studio such as the kitchen, the washbasin cabinet and the headboards. The living area is the heart of the interior; a bright green dining table clearly defines the dining area; this is separated from the kitchen through a metal and semi-transparent glass partition. The bathroom was designed using contrasting materials and colours: a single material, light blue grit tiles, was used for flooring and vertical cladding to create a sense of homogeneity, while the washbasin cabinet was designed using orange wood fibers panels and lacquered wood. In the two bedrooms the headboard was custom made to provide additional storage space.
